Jojoba oil is a chemically waxy ester that is derived from the desert plant Simmondsia chinensis. It is smooth and non-greasy and has the closest similarity to sebum, our own natural skin oil. It has balancing and soothing properties make it excellent for skin care, hair care and skin nourishment. Jojoba is rich in Vitamin E. The French rose is reputed to have stronger aphrodisiac qualities. On the skin, it is most effective for moisturizing and hydrating the skin while having a general stimulant and antiseptic action which is good for all skin types, but especially so for dry, mature and irritated skin.
